The problem
The pumps ran at full speed while pressure was throttled with a mechanical valve — meaning energy was being generated and then thrown away as heat. Because the station was far from the city, the team had to drive out for every minor fault.
The solution
We applied variable-speed drives to the pumps and moved to closed-loop control with pressure feedback, so the pump now produces only the flow that is actually needed. Ewon-based remote access provides a secure connection to the station PLC, and the team receives instant notifications on alarm conditions.
